MORUSROTUNDILOBA ‘Matsunaga’ (BONBONBERRY MOJO BERRY)

Morusrotundiloba ‘Matsunaga’ (MOJO BERRY) gives fruit on old and new wood, which means that you can pick mulberries within the first year. This is in contrast to the usual 5 or 6 years that it takes with most other mulberries. This compact dwarf variety grows to a height of around 1.5 m (compared to normal mulberries that can be up to 6-8 m high), making it suitable for any garden.

Unlike other varieties that only produce fruit over a period of 3 weeks towards the end of the summer, MOJO BERRY produces berries for a very long period, from May to September. Can be pruned in the spring. MOJO BERRY is beautiful as a solitary plant on a terrace or patio, and also in the border or in a mixed container.
